Announcement on Adjusting Assessment Service Fees

After careful review, it has been decided to adjust the fee structure for certain valuation services effective 2026/7/1. Following the adjustment, the base fee for calligraphy and painting valuations will be reduced by 15%, fees for ceramics and jade remain unchanged, and contemporary art valuation fees will increase by 10%. Notice: Art Investment Seminar

To meet the needs of collectors, the center will host a free public lecture on "Art Investment and Collecting" at the first-floor lecture hall of Changsha Library on 2026 6 15, from 14:00. Senior appraisers and collectors will share their expertise. The event is open to all residents at no cost, but seating is limited—please register in advance.

To enhance service quality, the center's official website and WeChat account have been upgraded. The new website features improved search functionality and added convenient services such as online appointment booking and progress tracking. The WeChat account now includes a "Micro-Classroom" section that regularly shares art appreciation knowledge. We welcome users to follow and use these updated platforms.

Notice on Standardizing the Assessment Report Pickup Process

To standardize our processes, effective 2026/6/10, evaluation reports can only be picked up with the client's valid government-issued ID and the acceptance receipt. If someone else is picking it up on your behalf, they must also present their own original ID and a signed authorization letter. We appreciate your cooperation.

Notice on Launching the Free Art Appraisal Consultation Program

To better serve the public, the Center will hold free public consultation events on the first Saturday of each month starting from 2026/6. During these sessions, senior appraisers will provide complimentary art authentication and valuation services to residents. Call for Art Appraisal Case Studies

To enrich teaching resources and research materials, the Center is now seeking representative art appraisal cases from the public. Submissions may include calligraphy, paintings, ceramics, jade, miscellaneous items, and other types of fine art. Selected cases will be featured in "Typical Cases of Art Appraisal: A Compilation." Authors of selected cases will receive a Certificate of Recognition and a commemorative gift.

To standardize the management of assessment service fees, it has been decided to adjust the fee standards for certain assessment projects effective from 2026/6/1. The specific adjustments are as follows: 1. Calligraphy and painting assessment service fees adjusted to 3% of the transaction price; 2. Ceramics and jade assessment service fees adjusted to 4% of the transaction price; 3. Contemporary art assessment service fees adjusted to 2.5% of the transaction price.

Notice on Enabling the Anti-Counterfeiting Mark for New Evaluation Reports

To enhance the authority and anti-counterfeiting capabilities of assessment reports, the Center will implement a new anti-counterfeiting mark on reports starting 2026/6/1. The new mark features holographic laser technology and includes a unique code that can be verified for authenticity via our official website or mobile app. Old reports remain valid during their effective period.

2026 Annual Assessor Qualification Exam Registration Notice

Registration for the 2026 National Art Appraiser Professional Qualification Examination is now open. Eligibility requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or higher in an art-related field; 2. At least 2 years of experience working in art appraisal; 3. Strong professional ethics and expertise. Registration deadline: 2026/6/30. Exam date: 2026/8/15.
